Temptations Snacky Mouse Cat Toy

So I received this cute toy from Influenster.com to try out...or for my cat to try out. *giggles* I opened the package and put the treats in and placed it on the floor. All the while the cat was watching me do this so he knew there was something in it for him. He stared at it for the longest time trying to figure out what to do with it and eventually I had to show him how to "play" with the toy. When he realized that he had to work for the treat he immediately abandoned the toy. I hate having to give a bad review on such a great product, I'm sure many other cats would have no problem playing with. But my cat "Mr Touch-Me-Not" is not interested in working for anything. He enjoys the occasional chase the tail game but as far as going that extra mile for a special treat, you can hang that up. I think the most enjoyment he gets from the toy is watching me play with it for him. I honestly think he's trying to outsmart me. It's as if he's saying "I'll just let her show me how to do it and pretend I can't figure it out, just so she has to do all the work to get the treat out for me. Then once it's out, I'm golden." This toy retails for $6 at most anywhere pet products are sold.
